Cheese Benchmarking Workshop at Grocontinental

Grocontinental customers, Ornua and First Milk, conducted their second benchmarking workshop in our dedicated cheese grading facility.  The event was attended by cheese graders from creameries across the UK and Ireland that supply cheese into Ornua Foods cutting site in Leek, Staffordshire. It was a pleasure to host the event which saw over 250 years’ dairy experience in one room.

Cheese grading is a highly-specialised and subjective area which presents regular challenges due to fluctuating market conditions. The sessions are organised to ensure that its cheese experts are aware of the industry’s latest developments and work closely with each other to guarantee consistency for the consumer.
