Paul Snaps History in Motion


Grocontinental Warehouse Manager and accomplished wedding photographer, Paul McArdle, was in the perfect spot to capture this fantastic image of the most famous locomotive in the world, against the backdrop of the construction work on our new warehouse. 

The Flying Scotsman sped past the company’s new warehouse build in June, as part of a national tour this summer. In 1934, the Flying Scotsman became the first locomotive in the world to clock 100mph, reducing the non-stop time for the London-Edinburgh run to eight hours.
