Key responsibilities

Amy is the first point of call to advise and support our team ofmanagers in effectively managing employment relationships.  She is on-hand to provide accurate and specialist legislative/procedural and policy advice to both our managers and employees.

Amy also works on a range of specific HR projects and initiatives to ensure that we continually develop and improve our HR strategy.

Career background

After graduating with a degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management from Harper Adams University College, Amy spent six years working in the HR Team at logistics company Kuehne and Nagel in Milton Keynes.

Amy returned home to her native Shropshire in 2013 and, after working in retail for a year, she joined our HR Team in 2014 as HR Administrator.  One of her key tasks was to provide HR support for our large operational team. After completing formal HR studies in June 2016, Amy progressed to the position of HR Advisor in January 2017.

Away from the office

Countryside lover Amy enjoys long distance walking events and has taken part in the notorious Longmynd Hike three times.  Not for the faint-hearted, the 24-hour non-stop hike demands walkers to cover 50 miles in the South Shropshire Hills.  She also enjoys less-stressful walks with her husband and their border terrier, Poppy.

Amy also enjoys spending time with her family, which has suddenly grown with her sister recently producing triplets!

Away from the countryside, Amy can be found in her kitchen enjoying her indoor hobby of cooking and experimenting with new cuisines.
